    The CIB Tech & Ops associates work very closely with the Finance & Business Management teams to discuss monthly financial activity including; direct and indirect expenses, as well as current and aged accruals.   

    Asociate serves as the main control to ensure checks and balances, follow standard operating procedures, and to protect the firm’s financials.

    • To manage team of analysts on daily basis, to support their development and growth
    • Be part of the team that supports the production of the consolidated financial results for JPMorgan Chase & Co., responsible for producing the primary financial statements for the firm including the Consolidated Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement, inclusive of Line of Business results
    • Work closely with our Finance & Business Managers, and global business partners to support the production of the monthly financial statements.  Key partners include: Line of Business Controllers, Financial Planning & Analysis staff, and Legal Entity Controller
    • Understand in order to monitor, the broad/global flow of transactions, via Legal Entity and Line of Business, into the consolidated financial results of the firm 
    • Understand Finance reference data and the legal entity structures that support the General Ledger architecture
    • Perform variance analysis and research, produce metrics and related reporting
    • Understand and support the application of GAAP accounting principles
    • Understand and ensure adherence to the firm wide General Ledger Reconciliation & Substantiation (GLRS) standards for specific accounts as appropriate
    Required Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
    • Prior work experience of 7+ years, including 2-3 years in team management
    • Knowledge of SAP accounting system
    • Experience with financial reporting systems (like CDGL), or good ability to learn new systems
    • Excellent desktop/spreadsheet/database skills
    • Familiar with industry standards and regulations
    • Experience in Paragon, Tableau or Qlikview software a plus
    • Fluency in both written and spoken English
