About the project
We are looking for Technical Manager for our newly emerging plant in Zabrze, first production establishment of Weber-Stephen in Europe.

Your responsibilities
- Managing all technical related aspects of the plant (maintenance, building / infrastructure, tooling department)
- Securing high equipment availability (OEE) to support an effective and optimized use of company’s assets
- Implementation and constant development of Lean concepts – TPM, SMED
- Involvement in machinery & equipment specification preparation, its acceptance as well as cooperation with technical services providers’
- Creating and supervising statutory compliance programs (safety, infrastructure, UDT etc) in the area of responsibility
- Supervising optimized and energy saving use of company’s resources
- Managing tooling department (deep drawn stamping) – monitoring of tools’ technical condition, planning its replacement and refurbishment
- Team, budget, performance management
Our requirements
- Higher education – technical
- Good command of English
- Min 8 years of professional experience
- Min 3 years of managing technical department
- SEP G1 E and D
- Experience of working to appropriate health & safety, other legal standards and regulations.
- Practical knowledge of Lean concepts and tools in respected field
- Continuous improvement mindset
- “Can do” attitude with “hands on” approach
- Respected leader, team oriented, good communication skills
- Experience and knowledge in the field of deep drawn process and tools (its construction, modification, repair) CAD
- Project management experience
- Experience with green filed projects
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs
