    Technical Pre-Sales Consultant

    Our Client is a multinational corporation technology company with more than 71.000 employees worldwide. It is the largest company in the world which designs, manufactures and sells networking equipment.

    Our Client is currently looking for a Candidate to join the Cracow team as a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant.

    As a member of this team, you will be assisting in pre-sales activities, interfacing between Customer Transformation teams, Business Development teams, Services Sales and Delivery organizations. You will be supporting opportunity qualification process and working towards the understanding of customer's requirements, and mapping them into a portfolio of services and solutions.

    You will be collaborating with key stakeholders (e.g. Deal Accelerators, Sales, BDMs and SDMs / CDMs) during the Propose and Agree phases of the Sales Process with the goal of gathering all data needed to define the project scope and effort estimate used as a baseline for Proposal and Contract creation.

    Your main responsibilities will be:

    • Serve as technical scope owner and liaison, coordinating with stakeholders to gather solution technical data and requirements
    • Identify information gaps (customer and project details) to prepare the effort estimate
    • Document the services structure and scope assumptions and exclusions
    • Collaborate with DAs, Sales / BDMs and Field to produce and refine the estimate
    • Facilitate with the appropriate SMEs to scope multi-architecture or complex deals
    • Act as a technical reviewer during the Proposal and SoW development cycles


    • Strong understanding of services delivery processes, ideally within IT industry
    • CCNP Sec / CCDP certificate or equivalent knowledge
    • Technical hands-on fluency and projects delivery experience in the following Cisco architectures: Routing and Switching and / or Security
    • Functional understanding of multiple Cisco security products (at least few of them): FWSM, PIX, CSM, ASA, Firepower, FMC, ISE, StealthWatch / Lancope, Umbrella (OpenDNS), AMP / Threat Grid, ESA, WSA
    • Functional understanding of supporting technologies such as SSH, LDAP, Active Directory, Radius, TACACS, SIEM, and event correlation
    • Cross-functional collaboration and strong communication skills to uncover the customer business objectives and priorities translating those into the structured services proposal
    • Self-confidence and strong problem-solving skills working in an ambiguous environment
    • Drive for results and continuous improvement
    • Ability to work and deliver the outcome with insufficient input data available
    • Experience preparing effort estimates based on the service scopes (a plus)
    • Prior experience as pre-sales consultant (a plus)
