Position Summary

As a successful Technical Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for knowledge, technical expertise and the team (about 5-10 persons) managing and maintaining bundle of new and inherited applications, platforms, toolchains and systems.


Depending on individual skills and knowledge you will be engaged in (but not limited to):

  • Knowledge transfer from our client to the team, being technical expert
  • Analysis and resolution of technical problems and issues on several levels of difficulty.
  • Coordination of a team (mostly developers, application specialists, integrators and systems engineers)
  • Usage of recent methodologies and tools (ITIL and DevOps based approach, Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), ServiceNow, Docker, Jenkins, Python, SQL, web development tools and/or many other technologies to work with
  • Coordination and execution of applications deployment and changes development.
  • Coordination of application support and maintenance activities performed by the team.
  • Controlling workload.
  • Technical solutions advisory.
  • Planning technical trainings for team members.
  • Evaluation of the team members.
  • Preparing services and work packages estimations.
  • Controlling project/service budget.

 

To be suitable for the role the self-reliability, ability to solve multithread technical issues and effective communication in English are required, while German skills would be regarded as advantageous asset.

 

The position will be located in our well communicated offices in Wroclaw/Warsaw/Łódź/Opole/Bydgoszcz depending on your preferences. At initial stage of a project traveling to West European or Nordic countries for couple of weeks can be required.

You offer

  • At least 5 years of experience and interests in field of systems administration (Linux, Oracle, Microsoft Servers) and/or application maintenance (Java, .NET)
  • Experience in leading technical teams
  • Fluent communication in English
  • Experience in direct collaboration with end customer along with technical solutions preparations will be a desired advantage
  • German speaking/writing would also be considered as significant advantage
