About the project

Currently we are looking for backup administrator, with at least 1 year of experience backup technologies. The ideal candidate has knowledge of backup technologies, especially Commvault, QNAP, QTS, Arcserve and can apply business continuity requirements to backup policies and daily operations of backup system within clients’ infrastructure environments. Essential for the role is hands-on experience in daily backup operations, daily backup system administration, daily reporting and regular system tuning for backup systems built upon backup technologies: Commvault, QNAP, QTS, Arcserve (at least one).

Your responsibilities

  • Diagnose of customer incidents and problems in complex environments with focus on, Veritas NetBackup systems, Commvault, QNAP, QTS, Arcserve

  • Configuration changes or repair measures as available from development or vendors using remote technology to meet Service levels (SLA) towards customers and countries, participation in standby shifts 24x7.

  • Communication interface to local engineers /partners, provide technical documentation and information materials.

  • Contribute to knowledge sharing in support team, provide professional incident documentation and feed knowledge base to enlarge known error information.

Our requirements

  • One year of backup infrastructure administration experience with an IT related degree

  • General knowledge about global/local backup environments

  • General knowledge about Windows OS, Linux

  • Knowledge and practical hands-on experience with backup consoles (Commvault, QNAP, QTS, Arcserve. )

  • Experience in competitive backup technologies is a definite plus

  • Practical knowledge of Veem and Microsoft Azure Back Server would be a definite advantage

  • Backup technology certifications is a definite plus (but not necessary as Fujitsu Technology provide trainings and certifications)

  • Positive and pro-active Attitude

  • Has a sense of urgency and is Pro-Active

  • B2 level of spoken and written English

  • Ability to work autonomous and under pressure from customer/countries side

  • Customer and service oriented thinking, putting customer first


  • Ability to upskill in existing and new technologies – sharing the costs of professional training & courses
