Your responsibilities

  • Diagnose of customer incidents and problems in complex environments forwarded from local support teams and partners in Storage HW/SW environment with focus on, Veritas NetBackup systems, Dell EMC DataDomain, CommVault.
  • Configuration changes or repair measures as available from development or vendors using remote technology to meet Service levels (SLA) towards customers and countries, participation in standby shifts 24x7.
  • Communication interface to local engineers /partners, provide technical documentation and information materials.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing in support team, provide professional incident documentation and feed knowledge base to enlarge known error information.

Our requirements

  • One year of backup infrastructure administration experience with an IT related degree
  • General knowledge about global/local backup environments
  • General knowledge about Windows OS, Linux
  • Knowledge and practical hands-on experience with backup software (NetApp )Experience in competitive backup technologies is a definite plus
  • Experience in Veritas NetBackup/ EMC NetWorker/ Data Protector/ Veeam is a definite plus
  • Backup technology certifications is a definite plus (but not necessary as Fujitsu Technology provide trainings and certifications)
  • Positive and pro-active Attitude
  • Has a sense of urgency and is Pro-Active
  • B2 level of spoken and written English
  • Ability to work autonomous and under pressure from customer/countries side
  • Customer and service oriented thinking, putting customer first
