You will lead our R&D Program aiming at delivering a low-voltage Power Electronics Converter platform. In close collaboration with Product Management, you support the program’s strategic goals and help our R&D team to achieve them by setting direction and priorities, aligning with business stakeholders, and taking responsibility of the R&D budget.
You will continue to build our growing R&D organization in Krakow, consisting of R&D specialists working on control platforms, electronics, power electronics, and e-Mobility. By fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment, you enable our teams to thrive and succeed.
You support the technology lines by driving hiring initiatives, participating in employer branding campaigns and building up presence at relevant universities in Poland. You take an active role in the recruitment and talent selection process, and support competency buildup and people development.
As a member of the technology center’s management team, you ensure a good representation of our teams and their needs, and you take responsibility of the required processes like health and safety, buildup of the lab environment and quality management.
You hold master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a comparable education. Previous experience in the Power Industry, in Power Electronics or in another technology-driven Product Development environment is considered a big asset.
Solid and proven people leadership experience as direct supervisor, project manager or other management activity.
Track record in successfully managing complex projects in a technical environment.
Solid understanding of development work within complex R&D organizations, ideally paired with experience in Agile development methods.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
As you will be part of a global business, fluency in English is required, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Polish is a plus.
Strong analytical skills, paired with natural curiosity and willingness to learn.
