    In this role you will be a member of the global engineered to order (ETO) test team which currently supports manufacturing plants in the United States, Poland, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and China. The ability to travel to these countries on occasion is required.

    Location: Katowice
     

     

    The individual in this position will primarily be responsible for medium voltage  (up to 20kV) and low voltage motor control center test support as well as the associated new product introduction activities under the direction of more senior staff in addition to providing test support for other Rockwell Automation products as required.

     

    Supports engineering activities such as design, test, modification, fabrication, assembly, installation, and trouble-shooting of electromechanical systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform test system commissioning and trouble-shooting functions. Assists in developing cost effective test methods and establishing best practices.

     

     

    CHALLENGES WAITING FOR YOU

    • Works with more senior staff to design safe, reliable, and cost effective electromechanical test solutions.
    • Provide manufacturing technical support assisting in troubleshooting test systems to resolve critical downtime situations at Rockwell Automation plants.
    • Create and release documentation on all aspects of the test solutions created.
    • Support witness and non-standard test planning and execution for customers (functional demonstrations).
    • Collaborate effectively both within ETO and other functional groups.
    • Support training activities for manufacturing test technicians.

     WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE

    • Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering Technology(EET), Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (EE/CS), equivalent education, or experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years related experience.
    • AutoCAD Electrical experience is desired.
    • Candidate must have the ability to read and interpret new product designs consisting of electronic circuit schematics, electrical and mechanical equipment design drawings, bills of materials, design and functional specifications.
    • Experience working with motor control centers and Allen-Bradley PLCs is desired.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving skills.
    • Proficient using Microsoft Office programs.
    • LSS Green Belt Certification is a plus.
    • Experience creating software solutions in languages such as C, C++, C#, NI Test Stand, etc. is a plus.
    • Good written and verbal communications in English.
    • Ability to travel (up to 10%)
