About the project
As Test Manager, you are end-to-end responsible for the planning, coordination and reporting of all test activities (i.e. system integration tests, user acceptance tests). You collaborate with the Project manager, Requirements team, Solution Development and Solution Operations team to manage the delivered solution quality.
Your responsibilities
- Definition and communication of the test strategy for the project
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning, coordinating and reporting all testing activities within the full Software Development Life Cycle
- Definition and tracking full traceability from requirements through test execution to defect management
- Definition and implementation of test process metrics (KPIs) to measure progress and effectiveness of the test approach
- Specifying the requirements for test environments and test tools
- Monitoring and involvement in test automation initiative, assessment of the test automation scope
- Coordination with Release Management
- Consulting and coaching whole project team in quality assurance area
Our requirements
- Study to university degree level of computer science, information systems or a comparable education
- 5+ years of experience with variety of QA roles, including Test manager
- Ideally Certified Tester Advanced Level & Test Manager (ISTQB)
- Familiarity with Test Management Tools like HPQC, Zephyr or TestRail
- Knowledge of all phases of the SDLC
- Hands-on experience in a wide variety of testing techniques and tools as well as in designing and managing full testing lifecycle
- Basic understanding of DevOps
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum as well as V-Model development methods
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Strong leadership skills, intercultural competence, global mindset, excellent communication skills, problem-solving attitude, willingness to learn
