Job Summary:

The EMEA Transaction Management team is responsible for developing property strategy and overseeing the execution of transactions for either one large, dedicated client or a number of clients with various transaction requirements.
 
The purpose of this position is to lead a variety of complex analyses used in the development of deliverables focused on real estate strategies in support of CBRE’s clients Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department



Key Responsibilities:

  • PMO lead to manage pipeline planning of the EMEA Microsoft portfolio
  • Managing the ROB around Microsoft real estate governance activities
  • Co-ordination of critical lease life cycle activities on a site by site base
  • Dashboard management and RAG status at EMEA, sub region and project level basis
  • Drive best practice to ensure clear governance and process in place and proactively identify areas of efficiencies
  • Maintain a broad set of data in relation to Microsoft’s corporate real estate portfolio in EMEA. Identify the need for data updates and then self-manage and deliver these updates.
  • Identifies Microsoft portfolio and occupancy related data gaps and support the Microsoft wider team in collating data.
  • Support with research into markets and trends that will be relevant for property strategic considerations
  • Assists the Microsoft portfolio management team in the development and completion of strategic real estate plans by working with cross functional internal real estate teams.
  • Strategies could include initiatives that reduce the cost and maximize the value of the client’s existing real estate portfolio.
  • Conducts, synthesizes, and presents research on industry best practice, benchmarks, and other issues of concern to the client and prepares preliminary recommendations
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Masters degree or MBA preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2+ years of related experience
  • Professional certification, professional designations (e.g. BCCR, CCIM, CPM, MAI) and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
  • Ability to effectively present information
  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions
  • Conducts advanced financial analysis
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite Products
  • Knowledge of real estate-specific software solutions like Tririga, Manhattan CenterStone, Siterra Plus, or Argus is a plus
  • Knowledge of advanced graphic/information design programs (e.g., InDesign, Visio)
  • Strong work ethic; willingness to go the extra mile in support of the client
