Your responsibilities

An outstanding opportunity to join us in a dynamic and highly analytical role in the Trade Management MI team.

Your responsibilities include managing the design, development and governance of key metrics based on big data used across the global Trade Management division for measuring trade bookings, lifecycle and exception management as well as other key activities.

The role includes ownership of several high-profile projects to develop departmental and business analytics, working with internal IT teams to source a variety of trade data and storing this in a data lake. You will build a network of Trade Management and business colleagues to assist in interpreting the data before producing visualisations and insights to be shared with senior management.

Delivery of these projects will allow Trade Management leadership quantify work done by the various global teams, make informed decisions about IT strategy and investment and measure the effectiveness of those decisions.

The role offers a chance to work closely with a large number of teams across the globe, from junior staff to senior managers, providing exposure to a variety of businesses and processes.

Your future colleagues

Trade Management is a large, global function within Credit Suisse providing close support to Trading, Sales and other business stakeholders whilst adding control and building operational infrastructure and automation.

You join a small team within Trade Management that has a strong focus on collaboration with teams across the division to develop metrics and reports which quantify the work they do and progress made on automation and other strategies.

The working environment is dynamic, often with different priorities and stakeholders each week due to the varied projects owned. Whilst collaboration is a key theme, there is also independent and technical problem solving which forms a large part of the team’s work.
