Your responsibilities

  • Your area of responsibility includes digital and paper file management in internal patent and trademark management systems and databases within Beiersdorf AG.

  • In addition, you will manage data maintenance and update information in the Patent and Trademark Management System and Database.

  • Monitoring of all relevant dates and deadlines

  • Quality control and independent filing of electronic and paper patent and trademark applications and submissions to the national and international patent and trademark offices (e.g. WIPO, EPO, DPMA).

  • Handling of correspondence with offices/authorities as well as lawyers, service providers, inventors and stakeholder

  • Monitoring and processing of payment transactions (esp. Official and court fees as well as lawyers' invoices and invoices from other service providers)

  • General administrative and organizational tasks, e.g. the administration and monitoring of the signing and execution of contracts in the company, the organization of signatures, the maintenance of databases, etc. fall within your area of responsibility

Our requirements

  • You have successfully completed professional education or qualification in the field of intellectual property management and law. Alternatively, several years of professional experience in the field of intellectual property is possible. As inexperienced professional or career changer is expected the willingness for training.

  • Knowledge and professional experience in the field of international contract and licensing issues are advantageous.

  • In addition, you have an independent and structured way of working and are open to new challenges. You have a high affinity for working within databases and electronic management systems.

  • External partners and stakeholders appreciate you as a competent contact person, because you have an accurate, careful and independent appearance with a high quality of decision-making processes.

  • Within the team, you act as an open, motivated and communicative person.

  • Professional, fluent spoken and written English, good knowledge of German would be a plus
