Your responsibilities

An outstanding opportunity to join us in the Global Transaction Surveillance Tuning and Calibration team is responsible for the tuning and calibration of Anti-Money Laundering Transaction Monitoring (AML TM) tools, such as Mantas, ensuring ongoing effectiveness of Transaction Surveillance models. Thereby, we assist Credit Suisse in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing. We use various statistical methods and tools (SQL, R, Python) to calibrate our models and scenarios. In our daily work, we collaborate actively with our partners within Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), IT and other investigation teams to further manage and improve our monitoring systems.

Our requirements

  • A University Degree in IT, Mathematics /Statistics or equivalent.

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in data analysis combined with advanced SQL knowledge; ability to assemble data sets from disparate sources and analyze using appropriate quantitative methodologies, computational frameworks and systems.

  • Proven experience with Oracle and PL/SQL programming and advanced data visualization skills (e.g., Tableau & PowerBI) desirable.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Financial Crime/AML typologies, rules and regulations.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills ensuring collaboration with key stakeholders, including Divisional and regional Compliance teams and IT. Proven ability to manage work well under pressure

  • Dedicated self-starter with a collaborate spirit, who can work on own initiatives to deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards.
