Your responsibilities

  • Pre contract – working with Factor and client stakeholders to gather and priorities requirements and contribute to the design of the service and associated parameters (service definition, KPIs, tools, commercials etc.)

  • Post contract – Partner with a range of stakeholders to plan and manage the setup of the service, ensuring all resources are in place in a timely manner to successfully deliver the agreed service. Monitoring and controlling the service launch to bring it steady state.

  • Establishing the operational management of the service, working with the client and Factor Engagement Leads, covering the planning, organizing, managing and controlling all aspects of the service (people, process, tools), and ensuring it is being delivered in accordance with agreed quality standards, KPI/SLAs and client satisfaction rating.

  • Stakeholder Management – Developing strong trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring there is sufficient goodwill to work through any issues without damaging the relationship.

  • Close collaboration with Factor’s Launch team – working effectively with Factor’s Launch function both to follow and further define best practice for the initiation of new engagements.

  • Risk Management – Proactive issue and risk management through identification, mitigation and remediation.

  • Scope Management – Maintain a clear understanding of what is in-scope and outside of scope, whilst quickly finding solutions to any client requested for out-of-scope work.

  • Reporting – Develop detailed progress reporting for clients and internal stakeholders.

  • People management responsibilities for one or more junior team members.

Our requirements

  • Strictly U.S. Time-zone coverage

  • Extensive experience in Service Delivery and Service Transition, including experience in one or both of the following environments:

  • A high-growth organization, management consulting firm, or professional-services firm.

  • Designing roll-out plans to ensure service continuity within a F500 global company.

  • Strong analytical project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.

  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements, including – but not limited to – the use of technology to achieve efficiencies.

  • Ability to help teams form and coalesce around a shared mission and understanding of service requirements.

  • Track record of implementing business process change, working effectively to collaborate across multiple teams to achieve shared objectives.

  • High-impact verbal and written communication skills (including presentation skills) and the ability to interact productively with a diverse group of stakeholders, both internal and external (e.g. clients).

  • Excellent ability to build strong client relationships across a range of roles including lawyers, business leads, project manager and IT.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Excel;

  • MS Project (or similar online project management software) experience highly recommended.

Optional

  • Experience of working within the legal services industry.

  • Prince 2 or PMP Certified.

  • ITIL certified with a detailed understanding of service design and operations best practice.

The role

We are looking for a Transformation Manager who will be responsible for overseeing a small portfolio of new legal services implementations and supporting key internal and client-facing initiatives related to the successful launch of new short- and long-term projects. You will support the creation of a team of lawyers and legal professionals supporting our international clients; these experts negotiate a range of commercial and financial agreements at all levels of complexity for some of the world's largest institutions across a variety of industries including financial services, telecommunications, technology and life sciences.

Depending on the client's needs, this position will cover the US time zone, but this will not be a constant need.

As a member of an ISO Compliant center, the candidate will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management System in place at the Center of Excellence and globally at Factor. As a member of the Factor team, the applicant will have access to various company and client assets and will be required to maintain the level of security as identified for each asset.
