Today, Action operates around 400 stores in Germany and Poland, serviced mainly from our existing DC’s in Biblis (Mannheim area), and Peine (Hannover area). Last year we have opened our new DC in Osla (Poland) to further support our growth as it enables Action to increase the number of stores in Poland to shorten lead-times to stores and to reduce distribution costs.

Objective of the role

The main focus of the role is to execute the administrative and customer service tasks in relation to the daily transport for delivering the stores out of the Osla DC. The Employee takes care of the daily administration around transport operations and takes care of customer service tasks to inform stores (via store operations) about delivery issues with the stores. He/she works closely together with the colleagues in the transport team, the transport partners (2 – 3), and the central administration (self-billing team) in the central transport team in our International Head Quarters

Responsibilities

Administration

  • Take care of the administrative tasks in the team: way bill administration, admin of performance and operational data (e.g. arrival/departure times) required for payment of transport partners and/or performance reporting
  • Complete and send out daily performance reports on the status of transport operations
  • Act as a backup for Dispatcher Transport during holidays or absence.

Customer service

  • Inform stores (via store operations) about delivery issues

 REQUIREMENTS – Hard skills

  • Senior vocational level in combination with 3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in a similar role).
  • Candidates should preferably be polish native speaking and fluent in English

Requirements – soft skills

  • Is very punctual and disciplined in the task
  • Works effectively together with transport partners and warehouse employees to reach the common objectives
  • Is strict in “agreement is agreement”
