Your responsibilities

  • Organization and monitoring of transports (road, sea, air) from and to company branches/ external suppliers

  • Review and check network and flows, looking for improvement / pull volume / direct shipment opportunity

  • Transport allocation: ensure proper split of transport volumes between primary and secondary forwarders

  • Cost control and cost effectiveness analysis (ensure right profitability). Monitoring and checking transport invoices

  • Regular contact with carriers and internal customers to ensure proper flow of information. Establish/ lead meetings with carriers

  • Provide truck load plan (current month + further) with main forwarder to ensure truck capacity

  • Monitor carriers’ performance, investigate the root cases and initiate corrective actions. Maintaining KPIs

Our requirements

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a similar discipline

  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in Supply Chain or Transportation

  • Customer-oriented and continuous improvement attitude

  • Team player that can work independently

  • IT-literate with good MS Office skills, particularly Excel

  • Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP

  • Knowledge of TMS is a plus

  • Polish – B2

  • English – B2

About the job

As a Transport Planner you will be responsible for coordinating the shipping process between shipper, consignee, freight forwarder, and other stakeholders, ensuring the accurate transport availability, utilization, appropriate planning and prebooking, using backup solutions on time to keep the service level high.

You can have a real impact in this role by actively participating in the execution and rollout of suppliers / carriers.
