This position will act as the first level of customer support. The Travel Coordinator will work closely with travel arrangers, travelers and travel suppliers. The coordinator will also manage the monthly credit card reconciliation and create the upload file for SAP.
The individual in this position must be prepared to take direction from multiple sources including VP of Global Travel Services, Meeting Specialist and the rest of our Client's team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand Travel & Expense Policy and enforce policy as needed
- Reconcile charges and allocate costs back to appropriate budget codes on a monthly basis
- Assist with site administration of online booking tool and other travel tools utilized by the travel department
- Conduct travel-related training as needed with individuals or groups
- Work under the guidance of the Meeting Specialist to assist with meetings
- Handle customer service inquiries
- Assist with special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Polish- proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal format
- Microsoft Excel or Google Docs experience
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once
- Detail oriented & strong customer service skills
- Ability to take directions from many sources
- Work well in a team environment
- Ability to build good strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers
- Excellent investigational and analytical skills
- Ability to think outside the box to solve complex travel issues/requests
