Your responsibilities
To reconcile book and bank transaction data in order to ensure cash and/or transactions are in agreement with system of record and all breaks are resolved in a timely manner.
To research, analyze and ensure resolution of exception items through communication with internal and external entities in an accurate and timely manner in order to reduce financial exposure to our clients and company.
To resolve non-routine problems in order to minimize financial and operational risk exposure.
To support TACC projects and initiatives, providing feedback and raising concerns.
To assist with maintaining up-to-date department procedures.
To prepare applicable metrics and reporting to internal and external clients.
To assist with internal and external audit requests.
Our requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
1 – 3 years of accounting experience in automated environment.
Other education/training (could be part of degree program) advantageous in:
Financial Accounting,
Teamwork, communication,
Personal computer applications (Microsoft Office).
Knowledge of banking operations, mutual funds or the securities industry.
Good MS Excel skills; knowledge of VBA would be a plus.
Good organizational skills.
Very good research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to look at the issue from wider perspective.
Ability to work independently and as a part of the team.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Ability to analyze reconciliation exceptions and determine and/or recommend resolutions.
Test process or product changes to maximize system efficiencies or enhancements ensuring that appropriate internal controls are in place.
Work under general supervision following department guidelines and procedures with support from the team.

The International Reconciliation - Shareholder department within Treasury Accounting is responsible for reconciling shareholder activity processed by the International Transfer Agency with activity in related bank accounts, resolving exception items and working with business partners to address the root causes. Working with different global departments: Cash Services, Money Movement & Client Reporting, Shareholder Services.
