Your responsibilities

  • Report daily shareholder activity to Fund Accounting, including capital stock and holdover reporting

  • Reviews capital stock activity for low activity products based on the Transfer Agency System data low activity

  • Prepares and/or peer-reviews money movements for shareholder activity between operational and fund custodial bank accounts

  • Prepares and/or peer-reviews money movements between operational and corporate accounts as commission and fee detail dictates

  • Prepares and/or peer-reviews large trades report to Portfolio Managers, where applicable on a daily basis

  • Responds to queries from business partners and others.

  • Escalates any issues identified in the workflows.

  • Analyze and identify the trend, if any, from issues/exceptions.

  • Mitigates risk by complying with established procedures, controls and processes gains.

  • Innovation and creativity

  • Offers suggestions on changes to further enhance the current accounting systems for productivity gains.

  • Assist in testing the new features of the systems

  • Work on special projects as assigned

  • Seeks opportunities to gain subject matter expertise and other related business knowledge and experience

  • Engages in assigned training activities, receiving training from others or providing clear and accurate training to others.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 1 - 3 years of accounting experience in automated environment

  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)

  • Strong PC knowledge including use of MS Office products with a focus on Excel, Teams

  • Ability to follow defined procedures to complete routine or repetitive tasks

  • Ability to seek guidance when operating in unique situations

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Innovative thinking

  • Ability to recognize and communicate potential issues impacting the organization

  • Ability to interact with team members in a multi-site environment

About the team

The Money Movement and Client Reporting team is responsible for providing accurate and timely information to various downstream clients (e.g. Investment Accounting, Portfolio Managers) and ensure that fund net asset value calculations and sales reports accurately reflect the daily activity.

As a Treasury Analyst you will be accountable for reporting and reviewing activity on capital stock to Fund Accounting stakeholders.
