    Description:

    This role offers opportunities to put your analytical skills into practice, and develop your experience within a dynamic part of the Bank. The role gives the rare opportunity to understand investment banking business and gain experience. In this role you will be responsible for a growing variety of tasks:

     

    Responsibilities:

    • The Risk Model Methodology & Governance Analyst will work with SUB/CS CH Risk Model Methodology & Governance team to support the strengthening of the Liquidity and IRRBB Model Risk Management for the Swiss Universal Bank (SUB) division.
    • Responsibility for liquidity and IRRBB risk model performance monitoring, support risk model annual review process, including participation in main governing bodies and monthly regulatory requirements reviews and governance for SUB entities.
    • Support model development, perform market research for alternative approach, as well as perform sensitivity analysis.
    • Become a major contributor to projects with high regulatory and senior management visibility.

    Qualifications:

    • You hold University degree in business administration, economics, finance or another quantitative area, or comparable level of education.
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Finance or Treasury.
    • Understanding of financial products and trading strategies .
    • Affinity to numbers and data, ability to track trends and spot anomalies.
    • Independent and enthusiastic working style.
    • Strong analytical capabilities as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint specifically).
    • Ability to learn and apply learning quickly.
    • Programming skill like R or Python is a plus.
    • Excellent teammate.
    • Fluency in English.
