About the project
Linguahouse is a dynamic and fast-growing company dedicated to supporting ESL teachers with quality resources in an interactive environment. Our company provides subscription services for teachers, students and language schools. With over 750.000 users worldwide, Linguahouse.com is the leading supplier of ESL teaching resources.
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our worksheets, website and app into appealing and easy-to-use products for our clients. We’d love to meet you if you have a strong portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications.
Your responsibilities
Gathering and evaluating our user’s needs in collaboration with content managers and developers;
Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets;
Building page navigation buttons and search fields;
Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables);
Preparing and presenting drafts and mockups;
Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness);
Conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback;
Adhering to style standards on fonts, colours and images, developing a consistent visual identity.
Our requirements
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role;
Portfolio of design projects;
Knowledge of design tools Figma or Sketch
Experience with application design (web and mobile)
Team spirit; strong communication skills;
Good time-management skills;
Background in graphic design.
