Your responsibilities
Govern digital design and UI/UX standards across the EADS development platforms
Guide developers and engineers when they are implementing designs
Create clean, consistent and understandable deliverables for developer handoff
Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
Create documentation and communicate design specs to our development team
Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
Write reusable code and libraries
Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability
Develop software solutions to meet customer requirements through team and individual efforts
Efficiently write high-quality maintainable C#, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
Work closely with product managers and developers to design, refine and validate solutions
Our requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in the development space
Excellent organizational agility to work across the enterprise to drive results
Ability to function in a constantly changing environment
Capability to take ownership of a task or problem and drive it to a resolution without supervision
Ability to research and learn new technologies ad hoc
Continuous drive to improve technical skills and acquire knowledge of cutting edge technology and what other organizations undertake in the field
Comfortable with ambiguity and situations when stakeholders are biased towards action
Ability to dive into complex problems
Interest to understand usability principles and design thinking
Fluency in English
Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap
.NET design and development (C#), including .NET framework 4.0+ and .NET core 3.1+
Proficiency in XAML/WPF coding concepts and syntax within Visual Studio
Proven UI/UX experience with demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
Experience developing for a wide variety of browsers and screen sizes to give users the best possible experience for their device
Disciplined debugging skills and tenacious problem solver
Knowledge of software development processes including source control, bug tracking, and design documentation
Database experience (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), SQL required
Proficiency using GIT version control (or similar)
Experience with cloud services, especially Azure & Azure DevOps
Familiarity with Agile software development
Knowledge of Xamarin, XCode, or Android Studio is a plus

This position is part of the Sylvamo Enterprise Application Development Services team and is responsible for developing and designing User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) to meet the business users needs in Sylvamo.
The position offers opportunities to work in a highly-technical, highly-collaborative environment, operating within a shared-services model. The UI/UX Developer will report to the IT Manager Web and Mobile Application Development. The ideal candidate will be a technical application developer capable of executing all visual design stages from concept to final engineering.
