Your responsibilities

  • Create and manage an individual portfolio of accounts for UK domestic transport

  • Proactively develop new capacity for new & existing lanes within the UK market with a focus on building mutually beneficial long-term partnerships

  • Determine carrier ability, willingness and availability to move freight.

  • Prioritize and communicate internally and externally in an effective and professional manner using the appropriate method of communication.

  • Champion the push to have our UK domestic network setup on automation tools such as GPS tracking, internal exchange platform - Coyote.com, Quick Pay (commonly known as S-konto), etc

  • Develop internal relationships with another employees / managers and Sales Team

  • Maintain high service levels with established network of carriers.

  • Identify and resolve any issues associated with the movement of freight with Coyote’s best interest at heart.

  • Constantly source capacity for additional business through prospecting, referrals and inside sales.

  • Help generate Spot business with UK Domestic based customers by liaising with Planning Teamand looking for available trucks

  • Help monitor any spot portals and provide costings according to available capacity.

  • Promote team cohesiveness by communicating openly and offering support when available.

The role and the team

As an UK Domestic Carrier Sales Representative, you will focus on the brokerage aspect of our business for our UK-based transportation companies and customers, helping customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions.

You will be responsible for the acquisition and development of the Transportation Network, with a specific focus towards servicing the UK Domestic team. Your goal will be to maintain and develop relationships, increase volume of moved transports, maximize profitability, and maintain requisite service levels. By utilizing our cutting-edge tech-tools, you will be building long-term relationships with our strategic accounts.

You would be joining our UK Domestic team; a collaborative mix of Carrier Sales Rep and Operations Rep working together to grow our customers and maximize our profitability. We are a hands-on team working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for dynamic, self-driven reps working towards individual goals, while collaborating to solve problems with the team. We work in a dynamic environment and adapt to challenges that come our way. The team is highly supportive and customer-focused internally and externally. Everyone takes pride in the management of their accounts and reaching their goals as well as those of the team. The aim is to build and develop carrier relations to provide our customers with optimal service.
