Your responsibilities
As a Design Researcher you will focus on understanding the users and their behaviors by creating meaningful research based on different methodologies. Your tasks will include:
Uncover user needs through research, develop deep insights, generate concepts, and craft how people will interact with the products and services we design,
Participate in all phases of the project, bringing the users’ voice upfront. This includes participating in client workshops, creative brainstorms, and product, services, and experience definitions,
Explain, discuss, and justify the outcome of the research eloquently, taking the extra step of thinking implications and opportunities for our clients,
Be part of the construction of Design Research deliverables,
Tell a story: present the communication of research findings, implications, and opportunities both verbally and visually,
Be open to work with a variety of teams and vendors all over the globe, since we conduct research globally,
Feel comfortable working with all type of companies and industries, including some of the most successful technological companies.
Our requirements
At least 2 years of experience in conducting qualitative primary research, whether in design research, UX research, market research or a related research field,
Experience in various qualitative research methodologies – in-depth interviews, ethnographic research, contextual interviews, usability testing, diary studies, etc),
Quantitative primary research experience and skills (end to end survey research with panels, A/B and/or multivariate testing, experiments, synthesizing/analyzing large-scale data) would be considered an great advantage
Experience with remote testing tools is desirable (e.g. UserZoom, UserTesting, Lookback, etc),
Ability to work closely with stakeholders and advise on product recommendations,
Ability to digest information and develop insights from a variety of sources and information types,
Experience participating in all aspects of design research projects – from planning to project management, execution, analysis, synthesis and final deliverables creation
Fluent knowledge of English and German (French is a plus),
Passion for design, problem solving, human-behavior,
Being organized, with great attention to detail & flexible,
Willingness to learn, get feedback and iterate,
Experience with software like Sketch, Adobe XD or Figma is a plus.
