Value Chain and Product Portfolio Expert

Tasks:

Business intelligence: Gathering relevant data about topics related to Tetra Pak business across the value chain, and to turn data into meaningful information and then into actionable knowledge. 

  • Planning the activities and aligning with stakeholders/support functions
  • Capturing data by identifying & using possible sources (internal and external) in an effective way
  • Analyzing the information in order to generate relevant insights into the impact on Tetra Pak's current and future business and product portfolio
  • Communicating insights in a compelling way to make it actionable
  • Gathering a solid fact base and developing a sound category plan.

Product portfolio expertise: Knowledge of portfolio of relevant product(s) (packages and closures, capital equipment, technical services) and their value proposition. 

  • Identification and understanding of requirements and constraints existing across the portfolio (packages, closures, SDS, equipment, service products)
  • Translation of product attributes into Value Proposition
  • Ability to understand/define product positioning within TP portfolio and versus the competition 

Value Research: Knowledge and skills to create a strong understanding, quantification and demonstration of how Tetra Pak products provide value for customers in light of various alternatives available to the customer. Using the value understanding to create information and models supporting the Value Selling process in creating solutions and value propositions. 

  • Ability to run value research projects to support future deployment, support the identification and quantification of growth opportunities
  • Creation and definitions for value elements adapted for local context
  • Develop differentiated, relevant and credible value propositions
    Support Key Account Teams in customer specific value calculation and documentation
  • Develop differentiated, relevant and credible value propositions
  • Based on Customer Value understanding guide Key Account Teams in how to create reasons for customers to buy our offering in light of next best alternative on the market
    Interact with customers to verify the value received
  • Analysis and understanding the competitive scenario and sharing its trends and dynamics with the commercial team

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or newly graduate (not later than 12 months) in Marketing, Economics, Mathematics or similar disciplines;
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  • High level of computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software skills
  • Demonstrated strength in analysing data and formulating recommendations, Highly numerate, rigorous, good attention to detail, structured mindset
  • Good business understanding, an ability to make numbers meaningful in the context of the wider business
  • Strong personal communication skills - report writing, presentation preparation & delivery, ability to engage effectively with people at all levels and across functions/organisations is required.
  • Customer-service oriented (multiple internal and external customers)
  • Strong organisational skills to manage large amounts of information for later retrieval
  • Self motivated, energetic and result driven approach
  • Availability to visit customers abroad in the region
  • Full driving licence
