Your responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Oversee relationship and support Organizational Alignment between Suppliers and Business. Ensure right level of governance and engagement between stakeholders. Drive Strategic Supplier Engagement with right levels within business organization to drive mutual value.
  • Contract Compliance: Provide contract interpretation and advice to business stakeholders, support contract negotiation and management contract lifecycle ensuring obligation monitoring for business and vendors. Work with vendors and key stakeholders to establish clear contract change control processes. Monitor contract renewals, extensions, change orders as needed by business stakeholders. Work alongside colleagues to assist with developing statements of work (SOWs) and understand any current requests for information (RFIs), requests for quotations (RFQs) and requests for proposal (RFPs) that are in the pipeline.
  • Service Performance Management: Works collaboratively to implement and update supplier scorecards and other reporting and measurement tools to identify areas requiring improvements or corrective action.
  • Issue and Dispute Management: Manage and Resolve disputes, develop Action Plans with Vendors, and mitigate any business disruption. Communicates with key stakeholders on project updates and escalate issues on timely basis.
  • Financial Management: Administer commercial and financial arrangements with vendors to include billing, invoicing, performance incentives and remedies, and internal chargebacks, where appropriate. Implement reporting and tracking of category spend, savings, etc.
  • Transition and Transformation: Administer and support Transformation Initiatives by Vendors or Business and drive success to business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Support maintenance a risk management/mitigation plan, including the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans as appropriate.
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

Our requirements

  • Degree from a four-year college or university program with a minimum of three years’ experience with vendor relationship management, business process outsourcing, service delivery management, program management, transitions, process improvements or other related experience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Real estate services experience preferred.
  • Certifications in the following areas are preferred:
  • Outsourcing (Ex. aCOP)
  • Supplier Relationship Management (Ex. SRM Practioner)
  • Project/Program Management (Ex. PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2)
  • Process Improvement (Ex. Lean Six Sigma)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to all stakeholders. Ability to effectively present information.
  • Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Prepare/calculate complex financial/business analysis and reports. Ability to analyze complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products).
  • Ability to work in an environment where delivering requirements within tight timescales is a pre-requisite.

Job Summary:

Vendor Management Office supports in establishing and leveraging the third-party relationships through outsourcing and other form of partnerships for deliver value to the organization and its clients. The Vendor Management team leverages a multi-vendor strategy globally supporting business stakeholders in driving Vendor Strategy, Enablement and Delivery. Within the Vendor Management Framework, this role is expected to support Contract Compliance, Supplier Performance Management, Relationship Management and Governance, Organizational Decision Structure, Issue and Dispute Management, Financial Oversight and to support Transition and Transforming initiatives led by Business and/or Suppliers.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Errors in judgment may cause medium-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
