Your new role

 This is an exciting new role as we are building new Team for one of our largest MSP clients!

As a Recruitment Specialist (Vendor Management) for our MSP client, you will be accountable for operational management of all third-party vendors (Supply chain) and external hiring community; ensuring an effective delivery pipeline exists for all contracted work.

What you’ll be doing


Accountable for operational management of suppliers within defined area

• Responsible for facilitating supplier briefings where appropriate

• Liaise with Line managers to obtain feedback at all stages in the recruitment lifecycle

• Accountable for managing the Supplier through the recruitment cycle.

• Responsible for relationship management with vendors

Deliver an efficient and compliant process:

• Accountable for delivering contractual SLA’s

• Accountable for ensuring that an appropriate demand plan exists for the business

• Responsible for collaborating with suppliers to deliver an appropriate sourcing and attraction strategy

• Accountable for working with the client to ensure full understanding of the role, consulting on appropriate approach and educating the client where appropriate on the recruitment lifecycle and technology

• Accountable for retaining and nurturing existing business

• Required to operate across multiple contracts and client sectors / specialisms

• Optimisation of contracted business – commercial awareness e.g. season recruitment, project delivery through HSR / HTS not agency, managers who have not recruited for 6 months

  Issue management and resolution with key stakeholders pre escalation

• Responsibility for delivery of account plan and associated monthly tasks

• Facilitate hiring manager and supplier training.

Strategic reviews with Business units Optimise Systems and Business Intelligence:

• Supply chain evaluation inclusive of scoring, additions and removals

Accountable for using management information effectively and productively - articulation and facilitation of market intelligence, proactive use of MI to provide decision support – seasonal peaks and troughs, off contract or non-compliant buying, management of MI pack and delivering to SLAs

Responsible for ensuring that the client utilises that technology and inputs the vacancy with the job description
