Your responsibilities
- Vulnerability scanning and management
- Configuring various log collection methods
- Vulnerability assessment and prioritisation
- Tuning use cases for security threats detection tools
- Preparing reports presenting risks and vulnerabilities in the environment
- Identifying gaps in estate and application security
- Periodical review of systems configuration
- Evaluation and recommendation about vulnerability scanners
- Preparation and maintenance of services documentation
- Ensuring that environment is well protected
- Working along other teams to solve the security-related problem
Our requirements
- Basic understanding of one of the vulnerability management solutions such as Tenable Nessus, Qualys
- Interest in IT security and vulnerability management
- Basic network administration knowledge
- Good sense of ownership and problem-solving attitude
- Demonstrated ability to document processes and procedures
- Proactive approach in finding improvements or possibilities for automation
- B2 level (or higher) of spoken and written English including technical vocabulary
- Willingness to learn new technologies and do some hands-on testing
Optional
- Hands-on experience in cloud services from any major provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Drive to analyze latest vulnerabilities in industries
- Understanding of OS patch cycle and why it matters
- Knowing what CVE is and how it can be used
- Security professional certification, issued by security industry leaders
