Warehouse Manager (Chemical Warehouse)Numer ref.: (Fixed- term contract for 2 years)

Role summary:

Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing Warehouse Operations to meet the current auditing requirements, working with Warehouse Operations to ensure workloads and correctly planned and backorders allocated on time. This role is also continuing to develop processes and improve efficiency ensuring that the operation has the capacity to meet future planned volumes and is aligned to support Wesco’s strategic goals.


Key responsibilities:

  • Contributing to Incora’s strategic plan through the delivery of objectives and development of warehouse processes
  • Delivering Warehouse Key Performance Indicators
  • • Team capacity managing and planning Arranging cyclical meetings with a team
  • Defining training needs for a Team
  • Ensure all auditing activities are planned and managed to ensure compliance with all requirements
  • Ensuring processes are in place to ensure timely allocation of backorders to ensure maximum delivery to customers’ requirements
  • Working with Warehouse Operations to monitor and plan release of contract orders to Operations for delivery to the customer, monitoring trends and developing reporting techniques to other departments
  • Facilitating and contributing to the culture of development of individuals to ensure that staff can contribute to their optimum and the organisation evolves to meet future growth and role backfill
  • Promoting a culture of Customer Service and Process Improvement and provide guidance and support in order to continually improve service levels and deliver efficiencies
  • Taking care to provide customer service at the appropriate business level
  • Ensure that processes are comply with health & safety
  • Managing the health, safety and security issues. Taking responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of employees and promote, monitor and maintain best practice and encourage teams to take responsibility for whole Warehouse Operations .
  • Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience on similar role,(experience in Chemical Warehouse will be a strong asset Min. Bachelor’s degree (for example: Production Planning, Logistics or related studies)
  • Knowledge of warehouse operating systems, nice to have an experience in: JD Edwards, SAP, TCMIS
  • Knowledge and experience of process improvement techniques.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety legislation and management
  • Health and safety awareness specially in chemical warehousing environment considering all related risks
  • Financial awareness.
  • The ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Some training skills
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Driving for results
  • Readiness to work in a 2-shift system (Monday-Friday)
