Your responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end quality control, quality assurance and accessibility checks on requested pages and sites.

  • Continuous monitoring of sites and providing data such as load time and page size information.

  • Ad-hoc support of local publishing team.

  • Monitor and maintain the consistency, continuity and coherence of client’s websites.

  • Inspect output to ensure compliance with applicable branding, design, technical, editorial and policy guidelines.

  • Ensure the usability, accessibility and cross-platform compatibility of client’s websites.

  • Identify and report website issues and faults and recommend appropriate paths to resolution. Document and track these defects.

  • Assist fellow team members in resolving technical issues, including CMS issues.

  • Contribute to improving the QA process and quality standards.

  • Recommend improvements or corrections to developers or local product managers. Liaise with EHQ or HQ where necessary.

  • Assist in the updating and maintenance of test templates/checklists.

  • Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies and software products.

  • Create and send reports to EHQ and external companies where necessary.

Our requirements

  • Preferably 2-3 years’ experience in QA.

  • Experience in team management

  • Previous experience in both manual and automation testing.

  • Experience in multiple CMS.

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS.

  • Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience or knowledge of JIRA.

  • Knowledge of W3C.

  • Experience or knowledge WCAG 2.0.

  • Pragmatic, self-directed and self-disciplined.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with fellow team members and all levels of management.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive rapport with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, and across different time zones.
