WFM Forecast and Capacity Analyst

As a WFM Forecast and Capacity Analyst you will be responsible for forecasting, capacity management, staffing and resource management.  This involves forecasting for the number of interactions, processing time, shrinkage, attrition and/or other required metrics and input for the capacity management process, by use of standard forecasting tools and analysis.  These tasks are key to ensuring optimal utilisation and occupancy of the Groupon workforce is realised, and KPI’s can effectively be met.

 

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • You will establish and update the forecast, long term capacity planning (13+ weeks) and production planning, in such a way that optimal utilisation and occupancy can be realised and KPI targets of the Service Level Agreement can be met.
  • You will collect, review and correct data which can be used regarding short, medium and long term forecasting of required metrics and inputs
  • You will adjust and fine tune the forecast based on experience data, marketing input, external factors and additional information of Operational Management
  • You will create forecasts for the medium term (at least 13 weeks in advance)
  • You will monitor and anticipate on the qualitative and quantitative availability of production capacity, reviewing the scheduling approach, including planning methodology and providing points of attention and giving recommendations to your stakeholders.
  • You will determine, together with the WFM Team Leads and WFM manager, the hiring strategy and create requests for new hire classes

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Experience as a forecasting analyst, or as a staff planning analyst and/or a scheduler with forecasting experience.
  • Effective operational language proficiency of Business English 
  • Advanced proficiency of mathematical, analytical skills and communication skills
  • Ability to focus on performance and results, and to act accordingly
  • Proficiency and experience with forecasting, capacity management, production and/or personnel planning
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with WFM systems, preferably NICE IEX 
  • Advanced proficiency and knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
  • Knowledge of the COPC methodology
  • Knowledge of the Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Elementary knowledge of the complete WFM process, specific calculations, procedures, tools and terminology
