Currently, for one of our top Clients, a large international retail group of companies operating in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, specialized in Branded sales and wholesale, we are seeking the best person to take on a Wholesale Manager role in Poland/CEE.

Summary of Job Content:

Job Description:

The Wholesale Manager will be leading the establishment and expansion of an international footwear Brand and in collaboration with the shareholders define and execute the strategy for Eastern Europe. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the wholesale business, across key markets. Main focus will be to develop and implement strategies to drive sales, manage client relationships, coordination and collection building directly with our business Partner. You will be based in Warsaw, Poland.

Your responsibilities

Sales and Business Development:

- Identify new business opportunities across Eastern Europe within wholesale, retail and eCommerce accounts

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets

- Set performance targets, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance evaluations

- Ensure strong visibility and positioning of the brand across accounts

Client Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction

- Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide product information, and offer targeted solutions

Product Management:

- Collaborate directly with the producer to ensure a consistent supply of products throughout the year

- Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to make informed decisions about product assortment and pricing

- Monitor inventory and work with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels

- Build future collections in collaboration with producer and internal teams

Order Processing and Logistics:

- Coordinate order processing, shipment, and delivery of wholesale footwear products to clients

- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment to maintain customer satisfaction

Marketing and Promotions:

- Collaborate with the marketing teams to develop brand and promotional campaigns, marketing materials, and product launches

- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase products and expand the customer base

Employer requirements

  • Proven experience (7 yrs+) in wholesale or retail sales, with a focus on footwear or related products

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of the footwear industry, wholesale markets, eCommerce wholesalers, market trends, consumer preferences

  • Solid network in Poland and CEE region

  • Fluency in English and Polish languages

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Self-driven with a pro-active mindset to ‘get the job done’

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software

  • Attention to detail and ability to keep various priorities

  • Ability to travel for business-related events and client meetings as needed
