Account Manager

YOU AND YOUR TEAM

Person selected for this role will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent business relationships targeted at revenue growth and retention. This position is located in Warsaw and selected person will handle a defined book of business of both corporate and financial accounts in Poland. By collaborating with internal partners, Account Manager is expected to initiate and coordinate complex solution sales, provide outstanding customer experience and reinforce Refinitiv’s leadership and reputation of trusted business partner.

SOME OF THE DAILY TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM:

  • Deliver gross sales and book of business targets.
  • Identify new business trends and opportunities.
  • Assure accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Define account strategy, build and update regularly account plans, own account information, sales activities and record sales process in CRM system.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer’s business drivers, workflows, strategies, decision making process, priorities and needs.
  • Develop high value contact network within accounts including C-Level.
  • Act as a single point of contact for clients in any account management issues. Act as the clients’ advocate within Refinitiv and as Refinitiv’ ambassador within clients’ enterprises.
  • Manage internal and external partners and maintain networks to present value proposition, negotiate commercials and close deals.
  • Coordinate implementation of global strategy on the local level.
  • Actively participate in marketing and PR projects, including seminaries, webinars, client events and CSR activities. Represent Refinitiv at external partners (third parties, professional associations, universities, etc.)

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

  • Confirmed +5 years of experience in account management and B2B sales, ideally in the financial industry.
  • Very motivated, diligent, self-driven and results oriented sales professional presenting the highest level of skills (interpersonal, problem solving, consultative selling, negotiation) and corporate behaviors.
  • “Hunter” type of sales person who believes that confidence comes from knowledge and accurate planning.
  • Proved skills of building good working business relationships based on trust and partnership.
  • Early adopter of new initiatives and opportunities also capable of inspiring others to follow.
  • Drive to act, enthusiasm and problem-solving mentality.
  • Superb communication and organization skills
  • Ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency
  • Experience in multinational organization.
  • University degree, Polish mother tongue, English proficient.
