    Airframe Systems Software Verification Engineer

    • Performing requirements capture, test plan creation, verification testing and debugging – RTCA DO-178
    • Automate testing using various tools and approaches
    • Execute automated and manual testing per predefined test plans
    • Working with other software engineers to optimize code quality
    • Verification of embedded software
    • Software for motion control at airplane (e.g. actuation’s controllers for flight control surfaces and thrust reverser) and for Electronic Engine Controller (EEC)
    • Direct cooperation with Woodward customers in France, GB, Germany, US, Canada and Brazil including Airbus and Boeing


    • Greater than 2 years of experience in software verification field – depending on experience Senior/ Staff positions are also available
    • Desired knowledge/experience in:
      • dSpace and/or NI Labview and TestStand
      • Test automation
      • Documentation based test-case development
    • Advantage would be:
      • Knowledge of C programming
      • Capturing requirement for testing, especially in DOORS
    • Working on assigned tasks independently to meet schedule
    • Master / Engineer degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • Good knowledge of English
