Your responsibilities

Risk Management Funds Team provides risk management services for liquid and alternative investment funds domiciled in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Ireland. As Alternative Investment Risk Model Developer you will be responsible for development of macroeconomic models for the Alternative Investments area, in particular for direct Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt and Infrastructure Investments. You will be in charge of alternative investments assessment by actively using the internal alternative investments software RealEstimate with regards to specific analyses and reports. You will be asked to enhance the Risk Management & Reporting platform used for calculation of quantitative risk measures and valuation of complex deals. In addition, you will closely coordinate with the risk analyst team and participate in projects within liquid strategy funds area (market-, credit-, liquidity risk assessment).

Our requirements

  • University degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, Finance or equivalent post graduate studies (CAIA, CFA, FRM or similar education would be an asset).

  • Experience in a risk management or investment analytics role within banking and/or capital market industry.

  • Good understanding of financial instruments and investment funds, including derivatives. Knowledge in the area of alternative investments like Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt and Infrastructure would be an asset.

  • Programming skills in R (Python programming skills and familiarity with SQL databases would be an asset).

  • Good quantitative skills, analytical mindset, data analysis skills.

  • Performance oriented problem solver with hands-on mentality and the ability to manage work independently.

  • Good organization and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
