About the project
Currently we are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer – Cloud Azure to make our team even stronger.
Your responsibilities
- This resource will be working closely with the Cloud Architect to take defined requirements and lead the development of the necessary automation elements to deploy production workloads to our cloud environment
- First Tier support for internal and external users
- Create Azure ARM templates, PowerShell DSC and PowerShell
- Be responsible for Disaster recovery, backups/restores of Azure Resources Configurations (ARM Templates), Virtual Machines and Storage Accounts
- Be responsible to create Azure Automation configuration and runbook development
- Design, install, configure, and maintain cloud resources and develop recovery strategies for all systems
- Monitor and evaluate to ensure timely upgrades and additions of IaaS/PaaS and software to meet growth requirements
Our requirements
- 3-4 years hands-on experience building Azure solutions
- 3 years of experience administering and maintaining Azure cloud environments
- 2 years of experience with the deployment of API Management and Application Service Environment Resources
- 5 years of experience with Windows Server administration and related applications, particularly Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server, Identity, and related cloud technologies
- 5 years of experience with cloud architecture and components including compute, storage, and networking as well as scripting experience (tools, process, methods, troubleshooting) and deployment concepts such as continuous integration
- Hands on experience creating Site to Site VPNs, Virtual Networks, Network security groups, Load balancers, Storage Accounts
- Experience with ADFS and SSO implementation on Active Directory
- Implemented security through Azure services such as Azure Storage Encryption, Azure Disk Encryption, and/or Azure SQL Database transparent data encryption
- Ability to create VMs and Azure Web Apps, implement Azure RBAC standard roles and design Azure RBAC custom roles
- Knowledge of Networking and subnets for a cloud environment
- Experience with cloud security concepts and best practices
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hypervisor), and MS Load Balancer/F5 Load Balancer
- Have Azure VPN and ExpressRoute architecture and design experience
- Implemented storage options for cloud services and hybrid scenarios with on-premises and storage on Azure
- Experience in designing and implementing BC/DR, potentially using Hyper-V Replica, Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
- Create PowerShell scripts, automate tasks by using the Azure Operations Management Suite and you’ve authored, deployed, and scripted ARM templates
- Certificates required:
- AZ104: Microsoft Azure Administrator (must have)
- AZ305: Design Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions (good to have)
