Business Development Manager –
Segment Rail (& transport)

Job Description:

  • Maintains a deep understanding of the business and transfers this knowledge and understanding to the local sales teams 
  • Supports the local sales organizations on product related questions
  • Promotes all products related to Rail business
  • Acts as central coordinator for the train segment for all internal stakeholders
  • Coordinates EMEA wide Rail projects with main
  • Reports to the GM Marketing EMEA and functionally to the GM CEE
  • Is located in Poland with a preference for Wroclaw
  • Is travelling a minimum of 60% across the EMEA region (with focus on Poland, Russia and Germany)

Key Responsililities :

  • Develops and drives the implementation of the strategy to build the Rail portfolio
  • Acts as central contact for larger international customers and specify products on customers projects
  • Coordinates between internal stakeholders including product managers, and businesses/ country organizations
  • Aligns pricing for products
  • Builds knowledge of the sales team on segment by, among others, providing training

Necessary qualification:

  • Has 5-7 years of experience in a similar role a potential customer or key supplier
  • Has a technical background/ education and preferably some background in sales & marketing/ key account management
  • Has an extensive network in the industry
  • Is fluent in English and preferably Russian
  • Has the ability to communicate effectively on different levels with customers including key decision makers and engineers
