    Business Manager CTO EMEA:


    Group Chief Technology Officer (GCTO) is an organization of over 6’000 staff aligned to the product suite that supports Information Technology infrastructure (e.g. mainframe, servers, connectivity, desktop, mobile, Lync, and voice). It encompasses support for all Credit Suisse IT infrastructure requirements.
    Group CTO Chief Operating Officer (COO) team provides the leadership and operational processes necessary to deliver financial discipline and operating efficiency. It ensures that CTO has the proper operational policies, controls, and governance, administrative and reporting procedures, communications strategy, and human capital programs in place to effectively grow the organization. It accomplishes this through a process-driven approach guided by the strategic objectives of Group CTO.


    The Poland offices are of central importance to Credit Suisse’s approach to demonstrating our global talent base and maximizing the efficient use of the bank’s resources.


    This Business Manager role will report to CTO EMEA COO with a remit to provide governance for the CTO EMEA region as well as managing the Executive Admin Service for Managing Directors in the UK. The candidate will apply subject matter expertise and process management skills to maintain a cost effective controls environment, involving:


    CTO EMEA Regional Management

    • You will be responsible for governance of the regional management committee including managing MC meetings - setting agendas, driving actions to completion and facilitating human capital processes.
    • You will take an ownership of regional workforce strategy initiatives including working together with regional leads and global COO's to manage hiring and staff levels in London.
    • Your next responsibility is providing Admin support to Managing Directors in the UK.
    • You will supporting the CTO EMEA lead in driving regional initiatives such as employee engagement events.
    • You will make decisions and coordinate activity on regional tasks such as staff working arrangements.
    • Ensure regional compliance where necessary on mandatory activities such as training and policy requirements.
    • Communications - Supporting communications for CTO EMEA Management Team to the department, this has several aspects like in association with the GCTO Communications Team define and implementation of a staff communications strategy, selecting the appropriate media, content type, frequency etc. Also you will cooperate Working with the Head of CTO EMEA to create all-staff memos and updates. Your role will be also scheduling and organization of department Town Halls/Management Committee Meetings.
    • You will support risk management governance and ensure a robust process is in place to control our risk exposure and promote risk awareness.
    • Audit Control – Support audit engagements on behalf of CTO EMEA.

    Operational Business Management

    • Provides active support to the operational side of business management.
    • Cooperate closely with the COO to support with transactional business management operations and service delivery (resource, financial, performance, vendor contract governance).
    • Support project management processes in alignment with the requirements of the management team (e.g. risk and issue management, communication activities, stakeholder management, etc.).

    Business Management

    • You should be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment.
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal is a strong requirement.
    • You should have ability to coordinate regional and global teams and be more than happy to cooperate with such teams.
    • Teamwork and communication/information sharing are your strong points.
    • You have good knowledge of processes, standards, costs and operational levels.
    • You have project management skills and you are more than happy to cooperate with different teams.
    • Proven ability to communicate and influence effectively with senior management and service providers.
    • You are dedicated team member with excellent written communication skills with ability to develop and deliver presentations with IT content aimed at Executive Board level audiences.
    • You have expertise in using various communication channels, including SharePoint blogs, video presentations, webcasts, email memos and Town Halls.
    • You have ability to work tight deadlines without compromising quality.
    • You are highly organized and excellent attention to details.
    • You are a dedicated problem solver and you are happy to take initiative to improve.
    • From technology point of view you have excellent knowledge of: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel.


    • Knowledge of Financial Management industry, especially back office.
    • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure.
