Continuous Improvement Leader

As a result of dynamic growth of our organization we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Continuous Improvement Leader. Person hired on this position will be responsible for driving sustainable and transformational change in an identified area of the business with demonstrated improvement in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across value chain as an integral part of the local Quality and Continuous Improvement function.

Tasks:

  • Working with the leadership team and functional managers on developing strategy deployment action plans and helping coordinate Kaizen funnel to support the deployment;
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination across the organization using a range of lean methods, processes and tools such as 5S, Value Stream Map-ping, Daily Management, Level Loading etc.;
  • Driving optimization of KPIs around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Costs. Driving Lean conversion for the organization and collaborating with internal and external suppliers and customers on overall Lean fulfilment of the value chain;
  • Creating and managing projects across the business to achieve targets. Ensuring effective sustainment of results and supporting problem solving as needed to close gaps to targets;
  • Building continuous improvement capability through training and implementation of various processes, tools and methods.
  • Acting as the expert on Lean, Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies. Combining technical knowledge with people and organizational skills to deliver operational improvements within the defined timeframe.

Your background

  • Higher technical degree.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma strategies and principles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in working on similar position.
  • Experience from leading major improvement projects.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Fluent English and Polish.
  • Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection and analytical skills for complex project.
  • Excellent ability to guide, coach and mentor others.
  • Self-motivated and self-organized. Open mindedness and strong interpersonal skills.
