    Continuous Process Improvement Centre Lead

    Location: Warsaw

     

    Global Business Services is implementing Lean Continuous Process Improvement globally as a fundamental capability for all GBS colleagues.  The CPI Lead for a centre is responsible for leading the deployment of Lean Continuous Process Improvement in a Global Business Services location and to support the development of a continuous improvement culture. The Lead will work with the senior managements teams locally to strategically align improvement projects and activities to the GBS business drivers and ensure the benefits are realised and visible to the business. The Lead will lead a team of CPI experts and will be accountable for maximizing the effective utilisation of this resource to deliver the most business value .

    Typical Accountabilities

    • 1. Deployment
      • Set strategy for Lean CPI deployment, and lead Lean CPI implementation efforts, within assigned Location in GBS.
      • Collaborate and become an active member of the AZ Lean Network
      • Partner with Global Function leadership and champions to identify and prioritise projects that are aligned with key business drivers.
      • Provide coaching and support to Global Function leaders to ensure successful Lean CPI deployment.
      • Support the development of a continuous improvement culture within an assigned Global Function.
      • Lead components of the overall deployment, which cut across Global Functions.
    • 2. Project and Benefits Delivery
      • Provide analysis and feedback to senior management on project activities, speed and quality improvements, financial savings and enhanced staff engagement across the Lean CPI portfolio.
      • Create dashboard to monitor performance and improvements in key metrics.
    • 3. Coaching and Mentoring
      • Coach and mentor Green Belts and Black Belts in technical and people skill application and development.
      • Review/critique projects for appropriate methodology and tools usage.
    • 4. Training Development and Delivery
      • Endorse and promote the use of appropriate lean, six sigma and quality tools from the AZ Lean toolkit.
      • Deliver Lean CPI training curriculum for Green Belts, Black Belts, Champions and other key business roles
      • Transfer best practices, techniques, procedures and tools to peers and other Lean CPI teams
      • Maintain state-of-the-art expertise in business improvement methodology, tools and techniques

    Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    Essential

    • Business Degree
    • In depth knowledge of Lean Sigma tools and techniques and their application
    • Proven experience of leading complex, cross-functional improvement projects
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering significant business improvement
    • Demonstrated coaching experience
    • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification required
    • Experience of delivering training
    • Demonstrate strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
    • Evidence of leading and developing innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organisation
    • Strong networking/consulting skills with good internal/external links

    Desirable

    • Project Management qualification
    • Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
