    Credit Reporting Analyst

    Responsible for supporting EMEA Credit Reporting Manager for the provision of accurate and timely financial and management information/ analysis to Senior Management and others in order to support the EMEA Business, EMEA Finance Managers and the Collection Teams amongst others; leading to a minimization of credit risk exposure and helping to drive working capital performance & growth objectives.

     

    The role requires a flexible approach and a desire for continuous improvement. The ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and tolerance of a level of uncertainty are desirable characteristics. An analytical approach is required and also the ability to prioritise incoming requests. Activity level will peak during the month end closing cycle and it is mandatory to be office based during the closing cycle to participate in the close activities and to assist the EMEA Credit Reporting Manager to meet the strict closing deadlines.

     

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Support the EMEA Credit Reporting Manager in the extraction of Ecolab and Nalco credit data for all available entities, currently 58, and produce Weekly Collection Reports, Month End reporting and various KPIs etc
    • Extract non EBS data – as above – as directed by the EMEA Credit Reporting Manager
    • Support EMEA Credit Reporting Manager in the consolidation of reporting for total Europe/EMEA reporting of DSO/ageing/bad debt  - Legacy Ecolab and Legacy Nalco data and Division data for the above also
    • Ensuring on time accurate reporting incorporating checking processes and reconciliation with system data (Scala/SAP/EBS etc)
    • Support internal and external audits as required

     

    The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:

    • University Degree
    • Previous business experience in finance
    • Intermediate ability in Excel VBA Programming
    • Knowledge of Access/SQL
    • Experience using other Microsoft Office applications
    • Knowledge in working with database applications, Oracle and/or SAP
    • Fluency in English
    • Excellent communication skills internally & across distances.
    • Self -motivated; Assertive
    • Process-orientation with customer focus
    • Time management, organization, and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines
    • Effective oral and written communication skills across distances and cultures
