About the project
Within ING our engineers work in multi-disciplinary teams based on the Agile methodology and DevOps principles. You work in your team, but you are also part of a chapter, a group focused on a business goal. Your chapter will be ‘Engineering journey’. As an engineer you will be working in a scrum content squad of 4-6 people.
Your responsibilities
Establish a structure for analysing and actioning data in order to improve and optimize products and services (built by GITEO organization)
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements, mappings, and data source profiling and transform them into innovative BI solutions
Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
Design, construct, install, test and maintain data management systems.
Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
Create custom software components and analytics applications.
Research new uses for existing data.
Employ an array of technological languages and tools to connect systems together or be willing to learn new scripting languages and methods
Collaborate with members of the extended team (eg, data architects, the IT team, data scientists) on the project’s goals.
Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.
Contributes to creation and support of BI development standards and best practices
Our requirements
You are passionate about solving complex problems and looking for clues in data hidden across systems,
You have skills necessary to retrieve, clean, and combine data from different systems to find an answer,
You have development skills needed to help you do that efficiently (SQL, Python, Dax),
You are fluent in English (international team).

Experience as a data engineer or analyst.
