    End-to-end supply chain management and supply chain analytics help to understand the current needs and challenges of our clients by using qualitative and quantitative assessments. A comprehensive set of supply chain related analytics tools and methods allows us to rapidly deliver traceable, repeatable project results and opportunities for a client’s supply chain transformation. Furthermore, we are helping our clients to align their strategic supply chain architecture, like supply chain strategy, supply chain segmentation, supply chain network design by leveraging our analytics capabilities. You’ll be trained in EY standards in practice before taking your role as team member.
    The opportunity
    We offer you the opportunity to become part of our international and multidisciplinary supply chain analytics team as part of our strategic orientated end-to-end supply chain team and to get the chance to work on-site for some of the leading German/ European companies across all sectors. You will undergo a thorough boot camp to prepare you for your tasks, which will be conducted partially in Poland and partially in Germany with the German lead Supply Chain team.
    Your key responsibilities

    As a Supply Chain Analyst you’ll conduct quantitative analyses of supply chain related data, end-to-end processes and supply chain networks by using our EY proven approach SC SmartMaps. You are responsible to identify and evaluate key findings. Together with the project team you will consolidate all identified potentials from qualitative and quantitative assessments to derive major opportunities as basis of a SC transformation roadmap. Also, you support the conceptual phase of supply chain design and strategic setting through applying analytical based approaches. Additionally, you will contribute to modernize and improve our consulting approach, toolbox and support innovation in our strategic offerings. An important part of your role will be also to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.

    Skills and attributes for success

    • Master degree in a field of study such as computer science, mathematics, business mathematics, industrial engineering, business administration or any other analytical science subject
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in the relevant field
    • Experience with advanced analytics methods such as data mining, predictive analytics and machine learning
    • Expertise on statistical methods and mathematical methods as well as relevant tools
    • Strong programming skills (esp. Python and/ or R) as well as expertise on data extraction from BI/ ERP system or databases (e.g. SQL)
    • Expertise on business intelligence tools (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau or PowerBI)
    • First experience in logistics and supply chain management consulting are a plus
    • Very good command of English and fluent command of German
    • Ability and flexibility to travel 60-80% of the working time on international assignments in Europe
