About the project

Working on a platform where users can build meaningful connections while having full control over their data. Users will be able to securely store any data they like, all in one location, and share what they want with whomever they want. They will be able to use information about themselves to connect with others for whatever purpose they choose, and can choose the criteria for how they want to connect — whether it be based on interests, values, experience, skills, or something else.

Your responsibilities

  • Creating modern social application with privacy always in mind
  • Developing innovative features using Elixir, Erlang and Phoenix
  • Integrating the application with CSS and HTML interfaces.
  • Optimizing the operation of web applications.
  • Making decisions about project development directions.
  • Work in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Participation in the entire process: from the first concept, through the process of testing production software, to final implementation.

Our expectations

  • Good knowledge Elixir or Erlang - practical experience in programming websites and web applications. Having more experience will be an additional plus.
  • Practical knowledge of how to communicate with REST API.
  • Ability to create efficient and flexible code adapted for repeated use.
  • Practical knowledge about using Phoenix and Flutter, or open to learn about it.
  • We expect you to be able to apply the best practices in order to maintain the appropriate code quality.
  • Knowledge of Scrum - as an organization we use this agile framework. It would be nice if you at least knew the basics. If not, willingness to learn is enough.
