EMEA Payroll Business Analyst

Job Description:

Participates in the establishment of standards, guidelines, procedures and other infrastructure necessary to support the objective of analysis and use of data to solve business problems Works with minimal day-to-day supervision. Independently plans and schedules work based on general directions. Responsible for working with various business partners (including suppliers) to drive process and system improvements.  The Business Analyst is the SPOC for their counterpart in the SSC and is responsible for ensuring service delivery which includes: setting goals and expectations through planning meetings, change management and relevant training, managing stakeholders and providing feedback. 

In this position, you will be responsible to analyze payroll data/services for assigned countries. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

  • Working closely with supplier to ensure accurate and timely payout to our employees and review their performance in a timely/structured manner 
  • Driving Quality and Customer Satisfaction targets in collaboration with the supplier 
  • Ensuring Payroll Suppliers have all information at hand to deliver their services 
  • Partnering with internal organizations such as Mobility, other HR functions, Program Offices, SSC, Account Managers, - ---- Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal to have the right process in place 
  • The opportunity to be involved payroll projects/programs as per the timelines by creating biz process flows & by coordinating with other PMO/PO. 
  • Liaising with external groups such as Payroll vendors, consultants etc. which makes the role very dynamic and interactive - Understanding customer needs and Intel's operations and/or strategies to influence supply decisions 
  • Challenge the status quo and driving process improvement to further enhance payroll processes to be more efficient delivering service excellence to our customer 
  • Able to multi task to coordinate assigned tasks for multiple countries 
  • Dealing with conflicting information and managing in a high-pressured environment 
  • Escalating and crisply communicating customer issues with clear recommendations on actions needed 
  • Using data to drive problem resolution 
  • Presenting ideas and/or opinions in a direct manner

Qualifications:

We are looking for people who have demonstrable skills in these keys areas: 

  • Strong customer service focus and good business acumen to drive the business forward 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, influencing, networking and communication skills 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic and changing environment 
  • Self-assurance to deal with tough problems/situations 
  • Knowledge and experience in leading process improvement and optimization & standardization efforts; familiarization with Continuous Improvement strategies such as Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma desired 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt style & content appropriately for the audience, including stakeholders at all levels 
  • Flexible and open to change 
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments, including senior management 
  • Some management experience would be helpful but not essential 
  • Team work - Ability to work well and collaborate with others to achieve high quality results 
  • Knowledge of a Payroll or Benefits environment would be an advantage but not essential
