    Engineering Technician
    Location: Katowice
     

     

    Rockwell Automation’s Industrial Component Business is looking for a Technician to be part of a newly formed team of engineers focused on developing & testing innovative products which support Rockwell Automation’s Connected Enterprise & Linking Technology strategies.  The preferred candidate will have knowledge in various areas of focus including: system test, building prototypes, tracking all Lab equipment and activities.  The candidate will collaborate with various engineers to ensure the timely development of high quality products. 

     

     

    CHALLENGES WAITING FOR YOU

     

    • Operate and maintain test equipment to perform electrical and mechanical tests
    • Support Test Engineers in test design
    • Setup and maintain test platforms for product or system tests
    • Support maintenance and safety activities related to the equipment and tools used by the laboratory
    • Report on performed tests
    • Identify and report issues
    • Build and modify PCB prototypes
    • Diagnose, calibrate and troubleshoot test equipment

     WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE

    • Technical School (Technikum)  degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
    • 1 year of part-time experience in product development area of technician support
    • Good communication skills, along with basic English skills
    • Legal authorization to work in the European Union
    • Length of technical high school in Poland (graduate at 19-20 years old)
    •  

     

    NICE TO HAVE

     

    • 3-4 years of full-time support new product development as technician
    • Familiarity with Communication protocols, such as Ethernet, IO Link, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet or similar
    • Experience in PCB soldering
    • Familiarity with Industrial Automation controllers and software tools
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Flexibility to work within a changing environment
