    Finance Controller

    Reports to: Finance Manager

    Number of direct reports: 2

    Department: Finance                                                        

    Location: Warsaw

    Purpose of role:

    Support in reporting and planning of CE region (Poland, Czech & Slovakia, Romania)


    Financial Reporting

    • Control over revenues recognition for the territories
    • Close cooperation with local sales departments and company representatives in other countries
    • Oversight of the billing process, calculation and preparation of monthly revenue accruals
    • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports (including variance analysis vs previous periods, budget and reforecasts)
    • Supervision of preparation and comments on monthly receivables ageing reports
    • Delivery of other ad hoc financial reports required by local sales teams and Finance headquarters
    • Management of a team of 2 people

    Financial Planning

    • Support in the process of annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting consolidated and per channel: gathering data from the operational teams, verification of mathematical correctness and assumptions adherence, consolidation, preparing various splits as required
    • Delivery of other ad-hoc financial reports required by Finance Team headquarters

    Internal Control

    • Support in implementation and application of corporate policies in finance and accounting area

    Personal Profile:

    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in finance at controlling or audit
    • Willingness to learn and develop new competencies
    • Team player
    • Goal oriented with hands-on approach
    • Ability to work in rapid changing environment and under tight deadlines
    • An excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    • An excellent command of English both written and verbal,
    • Knowledge of Peoplesoft / ERP system, and Hyperion, Finance degree and ACCA in progress would be an asset
