    Finance Specialist
    Location: Kraków


    We are looking for experienced Finance professional who would like to join a global HR software company. As a finance specialist you will report to the Group Chief Accountant based in the UK. You will be responsible for leading the finance function in Poland and will be working as a part of remote finance team.


    • Liaise with Finance Central located in UK
    • Evaluate financial documents for correctness and completeness
    • Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to on a daily basis and have this evidenced
    • Prepare finance journal entries and account reconciliation reports
    • Control of financial transaction records, invoices, payments, expenses,
    • Review all procedures and recommend improvements
    • Address financial issues and inquiries in a timely manner
    • Manage payroll process with external accounting company
    • Manage Social Fund process
    • Maintain accurate documentation for financial operations and transactions
    • Review P&L statements to identify gaps and find relevant solutions
    • Maintain accurate financial data and reports for submission to senior management
    • Prepare weekly cash flow and register all outstanding payment records
    • Perform month end closing activities
    • Manage and coordinate external audits
    • Maintain Fixed Assets register and Coordinate Stocktaking of Fixed Assets
    • Take care of year-end group process: year-end close, recharges, CIT, Financial Statement, submission of year end documentation in tax authorities on time
    • Establish cooperation with other departments (e.g. HR, office management, internal IT)

    Requirements and the individual

    • BA/MS degree and/or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance
    • Good knowledge of business English
    • Attention to details and proven ability to handle complexity
    • Ability to multitask and to manage priorities
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative
    • Proven ability to adapt to change and problem solving
    • Good knowledge of standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
    • Good knowledge of tax & accounting local regulations
