We focus on developing leading powertrain technologies that improve fuel economy, emissions and performance, including turbochargers, automated transmission clutch components and systems, timing chains and variable cam timing systems and we are now the leader in the production of these devices in Europe. Our modern facilities and Research & Development Center are located just outside Jasionka Airport in Rzeszów, in Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park and supply products for various customers, including Fiat/GM, Ford, Audi, Volkswagen or Jaguar.

    Graduate Trainee Program (m/f)
    in Research & Development (Start: 1st April 2018).
    Location: Rzeszów (okolice)

    We are looking for talented and driven individuals to join our 24-month International Graduate Trainee Program. The program is based at our Engineering Technical Centre, Rzeszów, Poland. There will be two international assignments at another international BorgWarner location as part of the program.


    The purpose of this role is to develop our next generation of engineering talent through practical experience. This is a hands-on role, learning by doing and working on current challenging projects in a global environment.


    We offer a regular full-time employment contract for the duration of the program, which also includes technical and non-technical trainings that will prepare you for future exciting opportunities in our company. Future roles could be in the areas of Application Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Development, Test Engineering or Advanced Development, just to name a few examples.


    Qualified with a master´s degree in mechatronics, electrical-, materials-, or mechanical-engineering, successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

    • Passion for engineering and the automotive industry
    • An eye for details and excellent organisational skills
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take responsibility
    • First-rate social and communication skills
    • Experience in industry or completed work-experience to support their studies
    • Fluency in English and Polish
    • Ability and willingness to possibly relocate to one of our other locations worldwide upon completion of the program
