    About the job

    Purpose of Role: 

    The role holder provides clerical support to one or more functional areas of HR. These areas may include: Compensation, Benefits, Staffing, Training, or Labor Relations. Processes a variety of HR forms such as applications, pay changes, and benefit enrollment forms. Tracks data and runs routine reports from HRIS system. Updates or modifies employee information. Responds to routine questions from both internal and external sources. May schedule interviews between job candidates and recruiters or managers.


    • Projects & Programs: Apply minor knowledge to perform routine assignments in one or more specialized HR programs, processes, and tools.   
    • Business Unit Management Support: Provide HR colleagues with day-to-day support in the application of specialized HR programs, processes and tools by using standard policies and procedures to resolve ordinary problems.
    • HR Service: Work under a limited degree of supervision to assist in the delivery of all aspects of specialized HR work within defined HR service levels and with high levels of customer satisfaction.  
    • Networking: Communicate with HR colleagues and management to exchange information relating to important business related topics and propose actions.  
    • HR Role Model: Has substantial understanding of the role and applies knowledge and skills to ensure HR best practices and quality standards are maintained.  
    • Adherence to procedures: Ensure that security and authorization procedures are followed prior to undertaking transactions. Adhere to established HR policies and procedures to meet company standards, statutory and legal requirements.
    • Information Administration: Access, review, compile and store multiple sources of data to generate appropriate criteria for reports.  Work with HR colleagues to determine sources of information to complete assigned work.   
    • Development: Actively seek internal and external training and development opportunities to further develop competencies and/or move beyond the scope of the role.   
    • Performance: Perform routine tasks in a well-defined area under limited supervision following guidelines, defined procedures and management direction to achieve agreed individual objectives.


    • Good English
    • 1 year relevant work experience preferred
    • Interpersonal and organisational skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • MS Office advanced
    • Orientation on high quality service delivery for internal clients
